My rads work okay but the water is not hot enough?

It is a baxi Glow-worm back boiler and is about 10 years old

Its either a Baxi or a gloworm, cant be both as they are 2 different companies. If the system is gravity fed then the heating is taking the water away when it is set for both DHW nnd Heating. You need to turn the boiler stat under the fire to a higher setting and just leave it on DHW until you get the water you want, then put the heating on.
