my problem is that the softener won't go into washing machine it is still there at the end of wash

I am on here looking for an answer to my fault with zanussi aquacycle and saw yours. This happened to my machine aswell and you need to clear the holes above the conditioner tray because they get blocked. The water can't get through to wash the conditioner away. I used a steamer to clear the holes. Hope this works
