I have had the same symptoms with my Opal shower as already discussed (low pressure, intermittent heating then nothing but cold etc.), so I followed the various checks etc. but:
1) There is no movement in the microswitch (it seems to be on some form of supporting bracket)
2) The microswitch itself appears to be functioning (get zero on ohmmeter when switch is depressed).

Any thoughts or am I looking at £63+VAT?!

how to line up dial on front of shower

one morning recently while taking a shower a fuse tripped out and thinking my wife had done something, but this was not so.on resetting the fuse i returned back to shower only to find the water was running cold, so i turned the shower up the setting to seven which is normaly on 3.well on setting 7 the water was hot but less pressure.
can you please advise a solution and how to fix.
