Dishwasher Door Close?

We cannot close our Diplomat dishwasher. There doen't seem to be any movement on either side of the lock.

Hi rebecca, take the decor door off and then the 6 screws holding the black control panel.You may find the door lock then falls away.If it does you will need to get a new control panel,they are quite cheap.The jaw of the door lock has to face forwards towards the machine or it will not grasp the latch assy.All the best.
