HOW CAN I OBTAIN THE FULL SURROUND SOUND FROM A SONY DVD HOME THEATRE SYSTEM FOR MY SKY PANASONIC DIGIBOX. IT REQUIRES AN OPTICAL CABLE FROM DVD HOME THEATRE SYSTEM TO SKY BOX BUT THERE IS NO AVAILABILITY ON SKY BOX.

You cannot use the option of the optical cable I'm afraid, the only option is using the Audio output from the Scart connectors, if you don't already have one you will need a Scart to RCA lead, there is no Digital connection, your Surround Unit should produce near to excellent sound from these connectors
