How can I fix my Thomson Scenium TV?

I have a Sky Box. When I switch the TV on the red light flickers but does not turn green. Sometimes a blue screen comes up and sometimes no picture at all.

I have tried switching off at the plug and re booting the Sky Box.

Just to say I now have exactly the same problem whenever the power has been switched off to the sky box. The only thing is that if I leave it long enough (5 to 15 minutes is usual) it stops flickering and can be turned on to green light.
Sometimes this produces a "no satilite siginal" notice and checking the signal test shows no signal on the lower input. Again after just leaving it like this for 15minutes+ it eventually comes on again and works normally. You can then swith back and forth to standby without further problems.

I suspected the LNB (because of one input dropping out) and replaced it but although it seemed to have helped at first I dont think it has made much differance.

I hope theres someone who can solve this
