have been told by plumber that i need a thermocouple for an old stelrad ideal elan no 2 boiler. where can i get one?

I was under the impression that the Stelrad Elan range were fan assisted boilers and didnt have a t/couple.It could be an Ideal Mexico which does have one,but i am not sure if a universal fits.Check with Plumb Center as they have a parts desk,but take the exact model or Gas council number of the appliance.This is located inside the front cover on a plate.
