Ceiling lights?

I have ceiling spotlights (small halogens)

All work fine except one - it comes on ok, then goes off after about an hour, all others remain on.

I have tried replacing the bulb but same thing happens, it just fades off and remains off until I turn all off, then back on again...!

Any ideas?

Sounds like an over heating transformer, they are designed to cut out to prevent damage.

In order to fix you need to pull the whole fixing down and pull the wires out of the hole and a transmformer will also come out. Make a note of the transformer rating (eg 20-60VA) so you can get a similar one.

Remember to turn off the electricity before you start
