Repairing take-up reel drive shaft rubber wheel/tip - Bell & Howell MX43 ?

The large take-up reel on my 8mm Bell & Howell MX 43 won't turn. The rubber tip,end or wheel on the end of the spring loaded long shaft that turns the black drive wheel for that take-reel has deteriorated. Where can I get the rubber part or can you suggest an alternative repair? Thank you

I just bought one myself. The rubber end (cone shaped) turned on the shaft, and wouldn't turn the two opposite running disks.
I am going to buy a rubber o-ring or two or three different sized and put them on the end of the shaft. I think maybe one that is thick placed up the shaft next to the spring will probably do the trick.
