when i turn on my xbox 360 a red light comes on just one what should i do?

typically one red light can indicate overheating which is due to a build up of dust and other grot on the heatsinks, (cooling bits of the cpu&gpu), this can result in the three lights indicating that your cpu&gpu are coming away from the mother board! Basicly it needs to be cleaned inside. Not for the faint hearted,

hey just rap your xbox 360 with about 2 towels about for an hour and the red light will come off i have tryed it and worked even ma friends done it
