I have just bleed the radiators around the house and the prssure gauge has dropped to 1.0. I usually have it at around 2.0. I was showed by my plumber how to do it but have since forgotten.
Can you tell me how?

there is a filling loop on the boiler. this has a lever on it which looks like the the ones you get on a washing machine valve. turn this and the boiler will fill up. Do not put too much water in or the blow off valve will activte this is set at 3 bar. It will not harm any thing if this should happen but try to avoid it. Hope this helps
