Why does my Diplomat ADP8322 Keep Beeping & Flashing?

Hi,

My dishwasher is a Diplomat ADP8322 (which i think is a rebadged whirlpool unit) & has been playing up recently. When you start a cycle it is fine for a minute or so then it starts beeping, the rinse light comes on & the light next to the start button flashes 11 times, pauses then repeats.

I have read online that this flashing relates to what the fault is, but i cannot find out what fault the 11 flashes relate to.

The first time this happened i cleaned out all of the filters etc & it fixed it, but now no matter what i do it just keeps beeping.

All help would be appreciated.

Thanks

you have to removed the black filter in bottom the dishwasher and clean it out. The soap dispenser is now opening, but the diskwasher is still not completing its cycle. the black filter is accessable form the bottom of the dishwasher.

good luck

After exactly the same symptoms on my whirlpool ADG 7340 (11 flashes etc), it turned out to be the rubber sealing washer from the rinse aid dispenser had come adrift and found its way down into the main pump, causing a partial blockage and reducing pump efficiency. By removing the section of pipe with the heating element wrapped around it you might see into the pump to see if you have a similar obstruction.

Mine also has just started to do exactly the same. No sign of any leaks, and the inlet valve seems to be functioning ok. I also checked the wires to the inlet valve and they are ok

Hi Craig, 11 flashes is an FA, WI alert which means it could be the water inlet valve or water in the base giving a flood alert.Check behind the plinth and silver cover to see if it has water in the base.If it has not the check continuity on the water inlet valve at the back. All the best.
