I have RCA Model F25442, the problem started with the picture slowly blacking out from the outside in, it then made a popping sound, and now it only makes a high pitch sound when it is plugged in. The power button does not work, it does not respond to anything, just squeals, anybody have any ideas. Thanks

Sounds like short circuit line output transistor symptoms.

You'll need to call a TV repairer.
Expect a bill around £50-£100.
