Freezer door won't shut/seal properly?

I have a fridge freezer. The door to the freezer won't shut satisfactorily. Usually this is because the ice buildup won't let it but there is not enough ice to cause this problem (particularly as it's all melting!).
Do I need a new seal or should I call time on it? Make: Hoover A Class (I know....it sucks)

Check rubber seal is fitted tightly espec. at bottom...happened to uncle and seal looked ok until examined properly and saw seal at bottom not seated exactly on rim...reseated it...prob. solved. This was after we checked unit was level.
