when the boiler is switched on it trys to fire but then a red light comes on with a flame next to it. i think this means the boiler has gone to lock out. i have no user manual for it and dont realy no its true age. i think the fan comes on but im not sure if its the pressure switch or gas valve that is faulty. can u help me thank you.

its a raven heat but dont no which model. there is no user or instruction manual for it. the pressure is set at 1.5bar

It helps if you give the make & model of your boiler, is it a combi, is the pressure gauge above 1 bar (if it has one) ??????
