My Thomson DT116300-16 crashed also.I found out that both Tesco and Comet have withdrwan them from sale because of problems with Thomson recorders. I got in touch with Comet (from whom I bought the recorder) and although it is out of warrenty, they are giving me a 10% discount off another recorder as a good will gesture.
