pump flow direction?

ideal mexico super cf65 standing in front of boiler which way should pump arrow face left or right when bleeding rads with pump on air is sucked in & header tank overflows

If the pipe work connecting the pump to the boiler uses a connection at the base of the boiler heat exchanger - (return connection), the pump arrow should point towards the boiler connection. If the pipe work connecting the pump to the boiler uses a connection at the top of the heat exchanger - (flow connection), the arrow should point away from the boiler connection.

Don't know if this will help -but no one else has offered anything yet ! For what it's worth my pump (different boiler) pulls the heat away from the boiler. Having said that I can't see it should make any difference. Are you sure you have the thermostat turned up and the heating on? If not your pump will not be able to pull water through the closed valve and so my suck in air instead.
