Worcester 24CDI RSF I have the same problem as BOB?

My hot water keeps going cold (boiler light goes out) after a minute or two the light comes back on and the boiler kicks in and hey presto hot water again for a few minutes etc etc etc. Any ideas anyone please ? dont like hot/cold/hot/cold showers in December

Hi Bunslinger the only light that goes out is the one for the burner
the one for the tap stays on.

1,water to water plate heat exchanger could partly blocked,
2,dhw sensor faulty
3,the dhw diverter valve push rod not making correct contact with the microswitch.(blue tack and and a piece cardboard would do wonders)
4,the micro switch.

Does the hot water demand indicator (the light by the tap symbol) stay on, or does it go off?

If it goes off, it's likely there is a problem with either the diverter valve or the microswitch.

If it stays on, and the burner cuts out, that's a different kettle of fish and it gets more complex.
