I put a cd/dvd/pc game into the disc drive...it seems to want to read it but it won't. Just makes a funny noise and then stops. Why won't it read my discs?

Sounds like a faulty CD/DVD drive. Best to replace it. Could be the laser is dirty and you could try cleaning it with a optical drive cleaner but i would just replace the drive outright.
