Everytime I turn on my DVD player it trys to read the disc but the disc doesn't spin and the code H03 pops up. I am wanting to know what it is and how I can fix it.

well u see the tiny metal thing beside the place were u actually put the DVD ..well u jst hv to move it to the middle nd itll work :D

I have had the same problem off and on for the past year. Apparently all it needs is a good cleaning. I have had success using compressed air and blowing out any dust or debris that may have gotten into the apparatus that spins the disc. If that doesn't work, it may need a more thorough cleaning by a repair professional, but try the air first (it's a lot cheaper).

I have no idea what a permenent fix is but this got it to work for me:
-Turn the player on
-Manually spin the disc (I had to try about six or eight times)
-Close the lid while the disc is still spining.

It took a lot longer than usual to start up the disc, but it did eventually read it.
