how to unlock ridio ,I have the code?

I have a clarion radio/cassette player,in my saab, I have the code but can't get the radio to unlock so i can put in the code. I tried the wrong code 3 times and the radio locked up, help!

try pressing band or leave radio on for one hour or while you go for a drive then press band this should bring up enter code
