Replacing halogen bulbs?

I find it very difficult to remove GU10 240V halogen bulbs and even more difficult to insert replacements, because the front glass has no "key" in order to get enough purchase to twist them into or out of the bayonet socket. Is there a trick to this, or am I just crap at changing bulbs?

These ARE tricky, I agree! I have a black rubber suction cup thing with a handle on it - the idea being you stick it on to the glass and then insert it into the fitting. I guess you could try using washing up gloves, they will give you more friction for twisting than just your skin.
