Over the last six months there has been a gradual increase in the time the boiler takes to fire from cold. Originally, whether on DHW or CH as soon as the boiler was switched on the pump would run, followed by the fan and immediately after the burner would light. It was then noticed that several seconds delay was occurring after switch on before the fan/burner started, although the pump always runs straight away.

It may be temperature related because as the weather has got colder the time delay has increased and now, with very cold weather the boiler takes upto five minutes to fire up on either DHW or CH, however once it is running on CH it cycles on/off on demand.
