My Sagem Freeview box keeps losing its signal?

This box has served me well for a few years now, but just recently, it's started to lose its signal and request a channel rescan, showing no picture until the rescan is started. Switching off the automatic update prevents this, but means that periodically, it loses its signal for a few seconds , then before finding it again, flashes up the "Sagem" boot-up page.

Any ideas?

My signal indicator shows "high signal" but "low quality" and just 10 of 25 channels are found when i do a scan, only 2 of these shows picture (not moving).
I have heard that noisy internal power due to bad capacitors could cause this. Does anyone recognise this problem? Have anyone managed to repair it?

You may have developed an aerial problem. Check its orientation and connectors.

If you are convinced that the aerial is OK then bin the box and buy a new one. You have had your money's worth and new boxes are very cheap now.
