What pressure should the pressure gauge be set at?

The pressure gauge on my combination boiler (Halstead Finest Gold) is set at 1.5 bar and this increases to 2.5 bar once the heating has been on a short time.

I am worried that this is too high.

How can I reduce the pressure?

Thanks for your help.

between 1 bar and 3 bar is safe.

below 1 bar the boiler will shut down and above 3 bar it will blow off throught the boilers temperature and pressure relief valve

sounds within a safe limit to me.bleeding rads reduces the pressure but be aware if it goes below a set limit the whole system shuts down for safety.
