worcester 30 si combi no CH or hot water?

worcs 30si combi Packed up yesterday so I bled radiators and re-pressurised the boiler which had dropped really low. red reset light keeps coming on and flue gurgles ( like trapped air ) so have turned all radiators off except nearest but boiler is not firing up properly -- sounds like an old car! boiler less than 2 years old.

are worcester 30 si better than 30 cdi?i am just about tbuy one and not sure which one to go for

Worcester are the best, its the fitters that are the problem, if the condensate does not run into an internal waste, ensure the outside pipework is in 32mm or greater pipe.

Garry, January 2009
your condensate pipe has more than likely frozen up causing condensate to back up into the boiler. You'll need to disconnect the WHITE pipe underneath the boiler and let the condensate drain into a basin or bucket.

My 30Si has just packed up as well! blue light flashing and reset light flashing. Manual says Ignition Lockout? what does that mean?

My plumber (on phone) suggested I press the reset button and see what happens. The problem just re-occurred.

-5 C outside on the 6/1/09. I thought Bosch were the best.

the same happened to me today (04/01/09) and it was only fitted in March 2007. Its not that old but its freezing and im now without heat and hot water!!!
