dishwasher - Diplomat ADP 8332?

I also have the FA fault, there is no water in the bottom as I have had the kick board and cover plates off and all seems clean and dry. it works sometimes but then goes back to the FA fault. where is this valve located and do you have a picture so I can see that is not sticking, I will take the dishwasher out today and tip it to see if any water trapped and will let you know if that does the trick. Any other ideas? Thanks Rob

for all of you who have this problem a fix (so far!) I have now taken out and tipped on its side and drained all the water in the pipe, also whilst the machine is on its back remove the bottom cover 4 screws and undo the 2 screws on the floor and lift off cover, you will see a black float swich, ( flood alert FA fault) this can stick and is worth checking operaton. if all ok refit and put back. if the fault ever occurs again you now know where this is and can try tapping the bottom panel to reset, this worked for me when I put everything back to reset the switch. if This fails again I have found online you can get a new switch for approx £36 and this will be my next step. Good luck. PS what a great site this saved me loads in call out fees etc.
