What Amp to buy with 6x9's?

Hi i have two infinity 6x9 speaker each 300w very good quality, was wondering if its worth buying an amp to help power them? if yes what amp would be recommended? the quality is good with just the head unit but yoiu never no?

This depends on what the 6x9's rms rating is. The 300w is the output power. Normally headunits come with around a 50w rms and if this is powering the other front speakers aswell you could well be better off gettin a small amp. Pop down to halfords as most of the ripspeed guys are good at helping. Also make sure that if you have fitted the speakers onto the parcel shelf that the parcel shelf is up to the job, if you get a custom shelf then these are thicker and will work better with the 6x9's.
