Plumbing?

I have got a cold water tank that feeds to bath, basin and cistern. All of sudden it started making vibriation noise when ever it feels like it. I have changed ball vaule to water tank, changed washers to cold water taps and changed ball vaule to cistern but no joy. Any ideas. I have done no work to plumbing what so ever and the noise keeps on coming every now and than including nights, whether or not water is used or not.

this can happen when the cold water header tanks flex and makes a wave on the water surface which makes the ball valve switch on and off rapid which then vibrates pipework.reduce the level in the header tank by adjusting the ball valve or stop tank flex with a wooden support
