How can I remove an object from under the drum of my Hotpoint WD42OP?

A metal decoration fell off my jeans and has got stuck under the washing drum. It scrapes as the drum goes round. How can I remove it? I looked at the back of the washer/dryer but there seems no way to get to the drum.
