please could explain how to fixi this problem i took some course in my country reg. copy machine

There is a lever on each side of the soft roller pad that is suppose to keep equal tension on the page as it goes past the film. We replaced our film twice before we figured out that the bar on the gear end needed to be tweaked a bit to make sure that you have even contact as the roller comes down and meets the film. Not sure whether this is a common problem, but we did the fix, got the roller to even up the contact across the film, and haven't had a problem since. Unequal pressure on the film causes it to shift.

Hi, I have the same issue with the copier machine from my church. I'm not a expert, I just founded that the code means something related with the FILM, and may be need adjustments or need to be replaced with some kind of kit.

What I going about to explain to you is what I did and works ok for me.

First, I open the front door and is a pin hole on the right side of 2 switches (one is sleep), with the machine ON I keep it pressed with a paper clip with the other hand I pressed the * button twice, this enable a service menu.

I check everything, I took a piece of jam paper and all looks ok to me. Coming back on the menu, I believe is a choice called "Options", I'm not completly sure, but there you will find a reset code, the machine will restarts. In my case, the code appears again. I went back to that option and more foward I founded something about FIX, and under that something that said FILM rotate press OK. I run both, first the FIX and later the rotate. The machine took a few minutes to finish. When I don't hear more noise, I went back and reset the codes. The machine restart and works OK so far.

I thing that the FILM was needed to rotate, the church is happy since that the last time a repair man charge them $300 for the same issue.

I hope that works for you. If you not find the Film rotate under options, explore the menu, you will find it.
Have a nice day and God blessings, chao

Most likely the fixing film has shifted out of position. The fix may be as simple as adjusting but usually requires the replacement of the fixing assembly. There is also a slight chance that the DC controller may be causing the problem

just push micro sw then close the door press * twice then enter prog 4 press ok press error press ok then code will be reset but you must chenge the film i code will be repeated

This is an old machine and this error code is related to the fuser system. This could be very expensive. I would look at getting a new machine.
