Sky Hd?

I have a contract Sky normal box, now I have a HD LCD tv, if I buy a Sky HD+ box privately, can I receive HD signals without paying £199+ £65 installation and an extra £10/month to the sky robber's!! I,m not bothered about the Sky Plus side of the box as I have digital dvd recorders x2 for freeveiw

Not if you want to use Sky but you can avoid paying Sky for some HD channels (BBC, ITV, Ch4) by buying a Freesat HD box for about £120 - £150. It will plug into your existing Sky dish. www.freesat.co.uk
