Whirlpool 6ALSQ8000MW 7.5Kg

I have the above machine. It also has no "lint filter" and is supposed to automatically remove it in the wash. I have called Whirlpool several times and they can not provide me with useful advice. I have tried running it empty with a dishwasher tablet (thats what Whirlpool told me to do) and smaller cycles and hot water etc etc. But nothing works. Is there an attachment available for wahers that don't have lint filters that would collect the lint?
