Dropped my casio exilim and the zoom lens will not retract. ?

Casio exilim was dropped and the zoom lens stuck and will not retract, is this a self fix thing ?

i found that taking 12 screws out from around sides. note: they are color coated on the plug ends.red, blue & silver. their will then be a release lever on the bottom of the outer lens cup. pull lightly on both lens lines and then perchase a lens from camra parts.com for about 20 bucks give or take 5 mins in 5 mins out...

There is a possible fix posted on U-Tube - actually more than one suggestion - and another site WWW.camerarepair.blogspot .com if I remember right ----probably worth a try as you will find the professional repair will NOT be cheap and possibly not worth the expence

Mine has the same fault from last night too. The zoom lens was at a slight angle, but I have corrected that, and lens retracted with help from me, although it will not open now.
Similar happened to me once before, and I had to send it off to be repaired.
