I got a message that my memory was full....I don't know how to unload it. Now my camera just turns on and immediately off again. ??

you say the card says FULL possible safety device to prevent you taking pictures OVER your previous pictures, you need to get someone to show you HOW move and SAVE the pictures from memory card on to a computer using/lead or a card reader .
once this has been done camera should be o k
