the pilot light on my thorn emi olympic 38/50b wont stay lit?

i noticed the water wasnt hot anymore, so looked into the inspection hatch and saw the pilot light had gone out. i followed the instructions to re-light the pilot light in full, it sparks and lights, but as soon as you take your finger off the gas, the pilot light goes out. any ideas what this could be please?

Just to confirm it will definitely be the t/couple.Great older type wall mount boiler. They dont make them like this anymore.

Thermocouple or gas valve if the pilot light is good and strong? But to check all this is, it will need to be done by a C.O.R.G.I registerd installer

Sounds like the thermocouple is ka-put, never heard of this boiler, so im guessin its a gas boiler, then if so should be an easy repair, i recommend getting a corgi registered engineer out 2 repair it though
