I ran out of oil whilst the boiler was on. The power was on to the boiler overnight before it was switched off. On saturday last I put kerosene in the tank. The boiler would not come on. The line is not airlocked. The burner is about 5 year old. Would it need to be replaced already? I dont know what else could be needing fixing? Its the only working part in the boiler. Please help.

Hi i have a firebird boiler it ran out of oil we had to have an engineer bleed the oil through at the boiler end.have you pressed the reset switch?
