I need to put a stopcock in a 22mm pipe which has no flexibilty,?

is there anything which will fit in a gap cut out of the pipe and then expand or stretch to cover the gap? There is no chance of pulling the pipework to one side.

Also you should have put this in the plumbing section.

Yes B&Q, Wickes, Homebase, Focus all have them.
Flexi joints meash covered flexible pipe with built in checkvalve, all sizes, push fit one end and compresion end on the check valve. Allow slight bend in flexi pipe to ensure good fit of the push fit on to the copper pipe.
If in doubt go to your nearest plumbing stockist and tell them to explain about these flexi joints with built in checkvalve or as you wish one to fit on a stopcock.
They will give you all the imformation your need.
They are good I've got them in my bathroom and shower room feeding basins toilets and bath.
