Hotpoint Aquarius 1100 will not agitate or spin?

This machine fills and empties water but the drum does not rotate. Any suggestions?

Could be the relay or the motor gone. but not sure if you are using a washer machine or a dryer. If its a washer it can be the brushes have gone on the motor. For a dryer its more likely to be the relay or motor.
