Somebody has sent me an e mail containing a large file,
it has been blocking my e mail all day. What can I do as I can't send or receive any e mails

Most Internet Service providers have ways to check your email by browser instead of using software (like outlook)

you could log in there using your email and password, send the email you need to send, and check what that big email is.

If it looks like nothing you want anyway, delete it from the browser interface, and it will not try to download again

try turning your comp off and get a programme mailwasher then only start mailwasher and then the email will go to that programme before going to your email programme then just delete it in mailwasher before it reaches your proper email......only works for outlook etc.....not hotmail etc.....try that it might help....
