creda 79362 storage heater, how does the output dial best work?

I have a creda sunhouse storage heater model number 79362. It has an input dial and an output dial? Does anybody know if the output dial needs to be set to a number 1 to 6 to let the heat out, or is the output dial just a booster on this model. It very warm in the morning but freezing when i get home at tea time and all evening long?....Help !

Set the output dial to 1 and the heater will retain heat longer. If you open it up later in the day to let more heat out, remember to set it back to 1 before going to bed. If its still low on heat in the evening turn the input up.
