Explosive ignition - have the electrodes checked, along with gas valve, combustion ratios, spark gaps, burner condition etc etc...... notorious on these boilers. I bet its an ISAR or ICOS

Basically get your local Corgi registered engineer out, or if it's still under warranty get ideal out to look at it as it is illegal to mess around with gas appliances unless you are corgi registered.
