how do i release the radiator pin pls

If "pin" is the Thermostatic Valve pin it's the little yellow thing just above the collar in this picture...

You undo the collar - lift off the top and gently pull up with pliers.

If you mean the bleed screw it's here...

You need to get a Radiator Bleed key to unscrew the little pin and bleed the radiator. Pick one up from your local Plumb Center or any other Plumbing Merchant
