Sony KDF50E2010 50" standby light flashing?

My sony KDF50E2010 Tv has just has a new bulb which has stopped the buld light on the front flashing and now when i turn it on the standby light flashes twice (apparently means overheating). Has anybody got any advice of how to rectify and keep costs down.

If it flashes twice it might be the door interlock, try removing the lamp assembly and putting it back again
