When I try dubbing from HDD to DVD I get the error message: Recording error 03-56.

This has only just started happening, and it doesn't matter what type of disk I use.

is there anything I can do?

We have just encountered this problem. The hand book was little help, but it did say that material that needed to be transferred to disc should be done as soon as possible as alot stored on the hard drive could cause corruption. We have deleted a number of files and hey presto, we can now dub with no problems.
