How do I remove bearings from A whirlool Washing machine ?

Hi ,

The drum is loose on my machine and is grinding. I need to replace the bearings, but I have no way of getting them out. They are directly behind the flywheel at the back of the drum. I have taken off the flywheel and the cover of the bearing wheel to try and lever the unit out, but is seems to be jammed in tight. Any insight to the secret of removing bearings from the back of a washing machine ?

sometimes if the bearings burn out on a machine they weld them selves to the spindle, it is expencive to change, you may be able to buy spindle and bearings compleat, talk to your local washing machine spares shop.
NEVER ATTEMPT TO WORK ON A W/M WITH IT PLUGGED IN TO THE MAINS.
