Bush LCD26TV006HDX - How can I fix it?

My tv isn't working. The red light on the top of the screen is flashing? I've tried everything - making sure all connections are in place, have turned it off/on, etc. Please help. Thanks.

Hi, all just to let you no i had the same problem i had a look at the board and it is 1000uF 25V CAP that has gone i put a new one on and my tv works!

I received a TV with this very same problem. I found a bulgey cap under a transistor heat sink. It si a G-LUXON 1000uF 25V CAP. It was obviously thermal failure. Once replaced the TV operated as normal. I hope this helps.

I have exactly the same problem mate, i cant find anywhere how too fixx this problem....

The redlight comes on as normal when you turn the power on, then when you hit the standby button it just continues to flash and never seems too "boot" up. No picture, no sound just a flashing standby light? if anyone could help it would be much apprecaited.
