How to make "Micromark" Surge Protector Stop beeping?

I have a micromark MM22255 Surge protector and it wont stop beeping. I have unplugged it, looked for a reset button, looked for batteries to replace and to no avail.

Any ideas??

I have the same problem but no solution, bar ditching it and buy a new extension tower which is what I’ve done. When it first started occasionally beeping I was convinced my “under desk” Windows tower PC was makings the noise so was pleased to find the culprit was the MM22255 surge protector!

I have same problem but my grandson found out that if you press the "Test" button it stops! Similarly if it's not beeping and you press "Test" it starts - press again, it stops. My "Surge protection active" LED is out. Perhaps I need a new one?

i have the same problem. :-) think it must be faulty and its a warning to tell you to its not doing its job. Mine also has a warning light telling you that 'surge protection is on' and that light is off.

Looks like you need to be an electronics whizz if you want to fix it. Buy a new one.

I don't have the solution, but have the same problem. I notice it beeps when I turn light switches on, as well as randomly. We had a power cut recently and I'm wondering if it is now 'sensitised' and needs to be replaced...
