If it hasn't worked removing it through Add/Remove Programs which it should really but if not i'd suggest you go to www.filehippo.com and download and instal the latest program Ccleaner if you haven't got it already. On the Tools Menu on the left once you open it up, try uninstalling Norton through there, once you've done that just above Tools, click on the Registry Cleaner and at the bottom click the button Scan for Issues, once it's finished, click on the Fix Selected Issues button on bottom right hand and clean that up, and back up the registry by saving the file when it asks you. Then click on the Cleaner icon above the Registry one and then click on the button at bottom right of screen and Run Cleaner. Once that's done shut down and re-start and keep your fingers crossed, that'll have given you pc a good clean up.
