My Medion DVD recorder was purchased from Aldis about 5 years ago. I gave $400.00 for it, as they were just coming out, as I recall. It has been just wonderful I understand they are German made. Now,when I put a blank, or recorded disk,either one, it says "No Disc".Product support says they no longer make them, nor do they repair them, but that it sounds like the laser. I've tried locally--no go. Please help.
